Welcome to The Heart Filled Home! I'm Arielle and I'm married to my best friend Clyde, and cat-mom to Tiger-Lily.
Since college, I'd been making home decor and gifts for myself and loved ones, and despite not thinking I had any talent, I'd always loved to make things by hand. With a dad as a carpenter, my love for woodwork was ingrained in me from an early age.
The first version of this business started back in 2017 when a good friend of mine asked me to make and donate an item for a fundraiser she was hosting. The Crafty Miss wasn't very popular, but I'd always enjoy making gifts for friends to give and just really tried to focus on what I wanted for the future.
Fast forward about 3 years later, Clyde and I met and got married, and The Crafty Miss now had a Heart Filled Home (cheesy I know, but hey, it works!). From then on, my love and knowledge of woodwork only blossomed with a husband by my side now who was also a former carpenter.
I try not to ever put limits on my creativity, and simply strive to make things I'll personally use, love and enjoy. In 2022, after dealing with mental health issues and learning to prioritize myself, I started reading passionately again after taking a break for over a decade. So as you browse our work, you'll see a big focus on reading and bookish items, because it truly reflects my heart and what I'm passionate about.
